The Invites Have Gone Out!

For some of you, this is your first time on our blog.  Welcome!  As you can see, we use the blog as a way to get information about our wedding out to you and to share funny things we have found while planning the wedding.  You can leave comments on any of the posts.  You can also email us at staceycanddonw@gmail.com

If you haven’t already you should be getting your invitation in the next few days.  The wedding is on Sunday, September 4, 2011 at Silver Swan Bayside in Stevensville, Maryland.  This is just over the Chesapeake Bay Bridge on the Eastern Shore.  If you are planning on coming for the weekend, it’s a busy one, and there is a lot to do.  On the left side you’ll find a tab you can click with some suggestions.

The wedding starts at 5 o’clock in the evening and is formal attire.  You don’t need to dress in a tux, but no jeans, dress shorts or casual sundresses.  Suits and ties for the guys and a cocktail-type dress for the women is the look we are going for.  Again, if you’ve got questions, let us know. 

If you are bringing children to the wedding and would prefer a kid-friendly meal instead of one of the options listed on the response card, contact us.  Also, if you would prefer a vegetarian meal, we can arrange for that too.

Keep checking back on the blog for additional information about other events as the wedding gets closer.  For those not ready to go to bed after the wedding we’ll be having a little after party and if you are spending the night Sunday, please join us Monday morning for brunch.  Details to come.  We can’t wait to see you all!
