Location, location, location

After visiting almost a dozen venues in both Maryland and Virginia, we have found a place we love.  I never knew searching for a wedding venue was going to be so stressful.  Don wanted a place by the water which in this area, doesn't really narrow things down.  I thought a wedding at a winery would be nice.  Weekend after weekend, venue after venue, we'd find yet another one we liked as much as the last.  We went to a beautiful resort in Cambridge but with that location also came a price.  We almost fell in love with a winery near Leesberg, but their wine left a bitter taste in our mouths!  But one place stuck out more than the rest and of course it was one of the very first places we saw.  With a beautiful view of the Chesapeake Bay and close to Annapolis, D.C. and Baltimore, it's the perfect place.  Near Kent Island, which has lots to do also, it's called Silver Swan Bayside.  We've set the date too: Sunday, September 4, 2011 (yes, Labor Day Weekend). We are working out the details on hotel availability and will post updates when we have them.
